Rain is Love.

Hey hey. Second post, woot woot!

Well, I suppose I shall just write about today. It was fun, and I guess I'd remember it clearest.
As anyone in my general area (Madison, WI is where I live) knows, today it was sort of raining, but not too badly - wet, but not so much that you have to stay inside. It also happened to be a Friday, which is the day on which we freshmen get a full hour for lunch, which means we have more time to do stuff.
So, after eating and all, Myles was like, "I wanna run around the school barefoot! But I don't want to do it alone...."
I was like, "Hell yeah, go for it! I won't run, but I'll walk behind you."
And grrr it was so infuriating! He was like, "Yeah, you'll walk behind me, shaking your head." However, he loves rain and he LOVES running on grass barefoot, so he decided he'd go outside (only if someone else came with, of course. He really needs to start learning to be unique on his own >.<) Elisabeth and I came. Elysia was whining about how immature and stuff we were. Remember how much I loved her last week? She's been really grating on my nerves this week. Myles ran around on the little field that nobody ever uses that by the school, that's right across the street from the tennis courts and the field and the block that EVERYONE uses. Elisabeth ran around with him. I. Cannot. Run! It's annoying, I walked 5 miles in not very comfortable shoes, so just because of that, I have blisters all over my feet. Grr. Anyhows, so after a while, Ana came out, but she left soon. And then Elysia came out! It made Myles so happy (I think I love Myles now. He's such a nice person, except when he's drowning bugs). He was talking about how it was the best lunch hour ever, except then Elysia was a brat and was like, "Um, no, sorry guys, but this is NOT the funnest lunch hour ever." And then...she stepped in a mud puddle. I can quite honestly say that I now believe in karma 100%. That just made things all right. She got all pissy and went inside, though. Oh well. Elisabeth started jumping in the mud puddles, and then Myles was like, "Hey, I'll paint myself with the mud like Native American war paint if you guys do." So we all gave ourselves two stripes on each cheek (well, Myles painted himself. Elisabeth and I were scared that it wouldn't turn out well, so we did each other. It still turned out horribly.) Then we came back in and Elysia was telling us about how stupid it was to paint ourselves with mud, and how gross we were. And we were taking pictures of each other and laughing, and she was all "Mehmeh, I don't see what's so funny." I think she didn't get her daily dose of sugar or something.... Then, after we checked ourselves in the bathroom to make sure it didn't look too bad, we went into Ms. Jankes room to show off (I'm not even sure what subject she teaches, but she's Ana's favorite teacher, so it can't be math. Speaking of, I solved two math problems for Ana today during lunch too, but that's unimportant). Malik was all, "What is that???" As a matter of fact, quite a lot of people were for the remainder of the day. Mission accomplished!
Elisabeth was going to wash her war paint off, but I told her that I was going to keep mine on, so she did too.
Oh, and then Myles and Malik and Ana and I were just sort of walking around and then Malik told me a Jew joke. I don't really care, actually, but I pretended to and...holy hell, does that boy over-apologize. Honestly, if I say it's OK the first 10 times, then it's OK. (I'm Jewish, in case you didn't know. Just so that little part makes sense).
Later in History, I was talking to Ebraheem and he was like "What's on your face?" I told him it was mud, and he told me, "Couldn't you have just used henna?" Made my day.

And then later today, what really made my day was this. Eric had a really pissed off status on Facebook, it was like a paragraph just ranting about somebody being a total bitch and not appreciating their friendship, and then he commented 3-4 times with more complete paragraphs about it. (You guys don't know Eric, but I have never seen him anything close to mildly upset with somebody. So this is a huge deal.) And then I chatted with him and, a while into the conversation, I told him I had mud on my cheek and then he was like "Rachel, thanks for making me smile." I was almost crying, it was so cute. The next time I see him, I'm going to give him the biggest hug ever and just walk away. He's such a dork, but you can't dislike him.

Oh yeah, and I've decided I want a question of the week that you guys can answer if you want. It won't be anything boring, don't worry. So, this week's question is: Please come up with a more appropriate name for the ringtoe. And I'll answer next week. Deal?

The song of the week is Firefly by Breaking Benjamin, because I'm annoyed that everyone's talking about Fireflies by Owl City! (Not that that song doesn't rock xP)
